Hologic 3D Mammography is a a three-dimensional image set in one-millimeter layers.

A 3D mammography exam may be used as a screening tool in conjunction with a traditional 2D digital mammogram, or may be used by itself for a diagnostic mammogram.

This is just one more tool to make early detection even earlier.

X-ray exposure is well within the safety limits.
