More are Turning to Hospice Care
A January 27, 2015 article in the Washington Post, Health & Science section, titled "Growing numbers turn to hospice", states that 1.65 million people received hospice care last year compared to a little over 1 million in 2004. About 2,400 patients are cared for daily by over twenty hospice care providers in the Washington D.C. area.
