Trained in General Surgery, Dr. Lapham quickly found his calling in wound care. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in 2001, he completed his surgical residency at Georgetown University Hospital and Inova Fairfax Hospital in 2006. He entered private practice in 2007, and in 2010 changed his practice to full-time wound care. He is the Medical Director of the Loudoun Wound Healing Center, and sees patients at several skill nursing facilities in Northern Virginia. His company NOVA Wound Care is devoted entirely to wound management and skin care, with a focus on 360Care, the coordination of care between the multiple and rapidly changing venues patients must navigate.
