Description: Everyday, cyber criminals target older adults through email, phone, and text to elicit valuable data and money. Using sophisticated tactics - they deceive users into giving them access to their devices or taking a certain action that leads to the loss of valuable data. MyChoiceTech’s fraud protection course will teach you how to protect yourself against these attacks and stay alert to new ones that may arise.

• Email - Your email is one of the many entry points for cybercriminals to enter your computer. Using sophisticated methods, they have the ability to steal money, data, and/or infect your computer with malware.
• Medicare/Social Security - Medicare and Social Security contain value that cybercriminals leverage to do various criminal activities. They have the ability to apply deceiving tactics to make you give them your information. This course will show you how to protect yourself from falling victim to these alarming tactics widely used by cybercriminals.
